Something Vintage Rentals is an event rental company specializing in antique furniture, decor, and custom-made Bars and Backdrops.

We're looking for skilled carpenters to join our team. Work will vary depending on the season and number/size of events. A spot on the overhire list is not a guarantee of work. Some weeks may be 40 or more hours, and some may be empty.

Job Duties:
- Build new inventory from sketches and concepts
- Repair existing inventory, such as bars, backdrops, tables, chairs, and upholstered furniture.
- Engineer mobile, durable inventory that is quick to assemble/disassemble.
- Maintain exceptional quality of builds – i.e. no sloppy joints, glue showing, paint/stain dripping.
- Assist with deliveries if needed.
- Assist in other areas of the warehouse as needed

Qualifications:
- Has professional level carpentry skills with 4+ years experience.
- Experience applying stain, paint, and top coats at a professional level.
- Has significant experience building bars, tables, and other furniture.
- Has a valid driver's license and ideally experience driving box trucks or willing to learn.
- Can lift 70+ lbs
