This individual serves as the assistant music director and/or assistant sound designer for the majority of productions at Playhouse on the Square. This position assists and works with the Resident Music Director and Resident Sound Designer. Responsibilities may include operating sound board for productions, acting as rehearsal accompanist, playing keyboard i n the pit orchestra, and assisting with music and sound programming. Depending on skill set, there may be opportunities to music direct or sound design a full production. Qualified persons should be an accomplished piano player/accompanist and either have a knowledge of sound design or be proficient with technology and be able to learn quickly.
