Greenbrier Valley Theatre is seeking highly organized candidates for the role of Marketing + Communications Director. This key position directs all marketing and public relations aspects of the organization and oversees related staff, including the Box Office Manager and Administrative Interns. The successful candidate will have a varied background in sales, customer service, writing, and media relations, including, but not limited to:
• Content writing and proofreading
• Customer relations and etiquette, stewardship, and cultivation
• Organizational skills
• Branding and styling skills
• Media relations
• Traditional, online, and social media proficiency
The Marketing + Communications Director manages a substantial budget and works with the Development Director to further the revenue goals of the organization, including through planning and executing special events and fundraisers. The Marketing + Communications Director coordinates content across platforms to ensure cohesive messaging in mailings, playbills, social media, email, etc.
