Seasonal A-1 Engineer
Who you are:
Dedicated Audio Professional (DAP) Experienced in theatrical production audio, especially theatrical audio mixing and sound effects operations. An excellent communicator with patience and understanding of a variety of personalities. Understand deadlines and anticipate needs and schedules for completions. Able to handle change and adapt to new and creative requests.
You will have experience in:
Theatrical audio applications, We use Shure wireless microphones and wireless workbench. Dante network protocols, Countryman wireless microphones. Yamaha PM-10 and Cl-5 consoles. You will be efficient and knowledgeable in microphone setup and troubleshooting. You will be skilled in actor interaction and microphone placement. Fitting of head rigs. We build our own head rigs for wireless face microphones. Skilled in digital audio consoles and interaction with sound designers, including console programming. Proficient in Q lab operation and programming. Dante and network operations.
What you will do:
We produce four outdoor shows utilizing the talent of two A-1 engineers. Your responsibilities will be to program, operate and facilitate all console, microphone, and sound effects for two productions. Additionally, you will swing for the other two productions as needed. A system engineer will oversee the department and the system operations. An A-2 will support your position under your direction. You will have cover from the second A-1. Additional duties as assigned by Tuacahn management.
When you will be needed:
April 12 -17 Design integration. 48 hour week
April 19 - May 1 on-stage rehearsals. 48 hour week
May 3 - 8 Annie Tech 72 hour week.
May 10 -15 Beast Tech 48 hour week.
May 24 - July 3 Alternate 6 night week performance + assist. 36 hour
July 5 - 10 Alternate 6-night week performance + assist plus design integration. 48 hour
July 12- 17 School of Rock Tech 72. hour
July 19-24 Count of Monte Cristo Tech. 48 hour week
July 24 October 23 Alternate 6 night week performance + assist. 36 hour week

A/V Systems Engineer
What you will receive:
Pay is hourly 15.00 - 17.00 an hour. Housing is provided. A private room in a shared apartment. Transportation is not provided. There is a one-time travel stipend of 280.00
