Front of House Manager (End of May – Beginning of October):

Reports to the Audience Services Manager and Audience Services Director

The Front of House Manager is responsible for the efficient day to day running of The Rev Theatre Company’s front of house operations. They lead and develop the team of assistants and ushers, in both their activity and their approach, to provide a safe, warm, friendly and vibrant environment for audiences, visitors and staff.

While the Audience Services Manager and Director are responsible for overseeing the entire Audience Services Department, the Front of House Manager will assist in coordinating the team of FOH assistants and volunteer ushers on a day-to-day basis, ensuring that they are kept up to date with internal communications and that the FOH staff and volunteers are providing effective customer service.

Key responsibilities:
• Responsible for the day-to-day management of the theatre
• Lead operational responsibility for the safety and security of the theatre by ensuring that all systems and procedures for security are followed at all times
• Act as the duty manager, as required, for weeknight and weekend performances when Audience Services supervisors are not present
• Carry out regular checks to ensure all areas of theatre including stage, seats, offices, bathrooms etc. are well maintained
• Lead and Motivate staff team and volunteer ushers
• Provide excellent customer service and care, and resolve patron issues and complaints in accordance with the The Rev Theatre Company’s policies and procedures
• Produce metric reports for the Audience Services Department, and provide support to the box office team
• Stay punctual and on schedule. Keep supervisors informed of progress and ask for help when needed.
• Maintain excellent communication to facilitate the organization’s continuing functionality.
• Perform the essential job functions safely, successfully, and consistently with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
• Maintain regular attendance.
• Other duties may arise. These duties will fall strictly within the scope of the job description
Salary Information:
• $425/wk + housing
• Must have own vehicle and valid driver’s license
