Seasonal Master Electrician

Who you are:
Dedicated theatrical Master Electrician with proven experience in musical lighting operation and design.
An excellent communicator with patience and understanding of a variety of personalities.
Understand deadlines and anticipate needs and schedules for completions.
Able to handle change and adapt to new and creative requests.

You will have experience in:
Conventional lighting and dimmers, intelligent lighting, ETC EOS programming, Net 3 gateway, and sACN protocol and configuration, practical lighting, RC4 wireless operation, LED tape install and operation. DMX protocol set up and operation, Programming of Avatek pixel control cards. Vectorworks and LightWright applications. Contemporary Musical lighting and design.

What you will do:
Oversee the electrics department to realize the design for the indoor show. Working closely with the design team to communicate progress and organizing crews for efficient work assignments and completions.
Verify the accuracy of the hang and patch. Update Vectorworks and LightWright paperwork.
Ensure and assist with practical, pixel, and wireless installations and operation.
Keep crews on task to have all electrics fully operational for focus and practicals fully operational for technical rehearsals.
Troubleshoot and assist with Technical rehearsals.
Attend all production meetings and technical rehearsals.
Schedule all work calls for the electrics department.
Operate the lighting console for performance.
Call spot cues for performance.

Who you will report to:
Production Manager, Technical Director, Lighting Designers

Who you will supervise:
2 spot operators.

When you will be needed:
June 7-9 Hang, circuit, patch, color, and focus.
June 10-12 Onstage rehearsals, pre cueing, practicals.
June 14-15 Tech
June 16 Dress
June 17 Invited, Preview 1
June 18 Preview 2, Open
June 21-August 7 7 Show week, matinee on Saturday.
August 8 End of contract

Salary is 600-800 a week plus housing.

The workweek will be 6 days a week. Sundays will be off.

Transportation is not provided.
