• Assist the Technical Director (TD) and the Associate Technical Director (ATD) in the load-in and load-out of all shows and preseason stage setup.
• Assist the Flyman in the rigging and flying of all scenic elements.
• Manage and run the stage crew (Flyman, Asst. Stage Sup, Stag Carps, Stage Interns.) during all changeovers while coordinating with the Electrics and Properties department.
• Monitor and enforce safe working techniques and rules on the stage during changeovers.
• Coordinate the needs of design staff and stage management during light levels, notes calls (when the ATD or TD is not present).
• Assist with construction of sets when needed.
• Strive to make the technical intern position as educational and worthwhile as possible.
