Production Manager
Exciting opportunity to join the innovative start-up non-profit Refoundry to work in partnership with the Program Director to support Refoundrys mission of providing formerly incarcerated people with the skills and opportunity to achieve financial independence and become leaders and job creators in our communities.

Role Overview
Reporting to the Program Director, the Production Manager will manage all training, curriculum, and production in carpentry, welding, sewing and other craft production.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include but not limited to: -
Production Operations
Set up workstations and production flow for curricular needs and production efficiency
Identify and submit requests for additional machines, equipment, tools and supplies
Maintain a clean, well-organized production environment and maintain machines in good working order
Establish and implementing production and work-place safety measures, including liaising with OSHA to ensure compliances
Inventory management, including acquisition (purchase, in-kind donations and salvaging) of all tools, equipment, raw materials, hardware, finishes, and etc. to maintain steady production flow
Set and meet production schedule to ensure it meet curricular and financial target outcomes
Integrate life-skills curriculum into all design, production and sales activities

Product Development + Sales
Assist participants with product development, design and production
Final selection of products for sale, pricing of all products
Oversight of packing and shipping of product
Quality assurance and control
Oversight of sales and sales venues to ensure targets are met

Administrative
Assign and manage interns and volunteers working in craft production
Provide evaluations of participants to Program Director
Keep within budget assigned by Program Director
Communicate participant-related HR issues to the Program Administrator


Qualifications
Required
Passion for criminal, social and economic justice and commitment to Refoundrys innovative approach
Minimum 3years program management
Experience with product development, sales, and negotiations
Experience developing vendor relationships
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Entrepreneurial mindset with comfort working in fast-paced, start-up environment
Ability to coordinate and support different stakeholders
Experience with budget management
Pluses
Working knowledge of Spanish
Experience working with marginalized populations
Non-Profit and For-Profit professional experience
Experienced in conflict resolution
