$55-65K, depending on experience biweekly

This position is responsible for oversight of the company's business administration; inclusive of establishing and managing new business entities, venue and artist contracts, payments and insurance requirements, supporting the Development Department contract process (including, but not limited to, intellectual property and licensing agreements), managing the nonresident withholding tax and music royalty process, as well as managing the business insurance programs.


Requirements

Responsible for the business registration process; filing with various state and municipal entities, working collaboratively with the HR and Accounting functions within the Operations department.
Maintains a high degree of confidentiality, trusted partner with executive management regarding ownership and financing details.
Supervises department staff, responsible for the hiring, development and training, position duties and other employment conditions.
Drafts, reviews and audits contract details, negotiating terms, protecting the company and maintaining partner relationships to company standards and expectations.
Responsible for ensuring artist payments are processed timely and accurately
Reviews and audits contract A/R, A/P
Ensure licensing and copyright regulations are not infringed upon by the company, overseeing the processing of required payments and filings.
Collaborates with HR and GM on independent contractor management, creatives and other free-lancer requests.
Responsible for the commercial insurance program, including property, liability, umbrella, cyber, errors and omissions, EPLI, D+O and workers compensation insurance program.
Provides office management support as needed
Create and distribute outgoing engagement, independent contractor, co-pro, and artist contracts according to the Contract Procedures.
Thoroughly review incoming contracts and prepare for execution according to the Contract Review + Execution Process.
Acquire insurance for engagements in accordance with the Insurance Procurement Process.
Log incoming and outgoing contracts in the Contract Log.
Track incoming contracts and deposits, and send overdue notices as needed.\
Establish and maintain new LLC's as needed.
Implement the State Entertainer Tax Withholding process including registration and maintenance of state-specific requirements to minimize the withholding burden on engagements, and ensure that all accounting is accurate.

Minimum Position Requirements

BS/BA in Business or Arts Administration or related degree. Combination of education and experience may be accepted in lieu of four year degree.
Prior entertainment industry experience, particularly with contracts and artist payments, preferred
Prior experience in supervising, managing and developing others
Strong business acumen and attention to detail
Must be able to deliver quality work, delivering on time, flexing between internal and external customers.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication, and project management skills.
Must be proficient in MS Office products, particularly: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Experience working with ERP or Accounting systems helpful.
