Provide oversight, leadership, operation and training to an integrated team of Audio technicians on a large scale arena touring production by assisting with the assembly, operation and disassembly of all playback systems, system equalization, PA, sound effects generators, telecom systems and other functions related to the production while maintaining the integrity of the artistic concept and adhering to Best Practice Safety Protocols.
Essential Job Functions
Operation, Oversight and Supervision in the setup and teardown of all show equipment pertaining to the audio department and other equipment assigned to the department while directing local crews in the loading and unloading, assembling and disassembling of all associated equipment.
Manage, direct and assist in the repair and maintenance all equipment related to the Audio Department as directed by supervisors and Best Practice Standards.
Ensure the safety and security of associated audio equipment at all times including but not limited to power and signal distribution systems, line array PA, chain hoists, motor control, FOH consoles and outboard gear.
Liaison with Show Management to ensure all members of the audio department follow established show cues to maintain high standards of quality established for the productions aesthetics and creative vision.
Interface with Show Management to ensure that audio personnel adhere to the proper execution of all training and safety programs; and will maintain records as it relates to the touring production unit including but not limited to fall protections, equipment, forklift training, and chain hoist motor maintenance
Responsible for compliance with all Local and Feld Entertainment Inc. safety policies and continually seeking to improve efficiency and safety within the Audio department and overall production.

Responsible for following the rules, regulations and guidelines set forth by Feld Entertainment Inc. as they pertain to the Jurassic World Live Tour Production.
Conducts job specific training and develops contingency plans including cross training and emergency protocols.
Assist in mediation of job related disputes with the Audio Department.
Performs regular administrative duties of the Audio Department.
Responsible for accepting all other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Job Requirements
Bachelor degree or higher in Technical Theatre or Audio Reinforcement and/or 6+ years real world experience as an audio technician in the arena, theatre, or corporate touring industries as it relates to live performances.
Understands theatrical terms and directions.
Ability to solve practical problems and interpret diverse instructions furnished in various forms including verbal, written, blueprints and CAD documents.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety regulations, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, as well as to write route reports and correspondence
Ability to climb and work focus, adjust and repair at heights in excess of 55ft before, during and after performance and during rigging calls, load ins and load outs.
Recognized as a proven team player with creative problem solving and strong trouble shooting capabilities
Ability and desire to tour year round.
Ability to travel to Canada and other international locations.
Knowledge and experience working with Sound reinforcement line array PA systems, software-based audio analyzers, digital playback and console equipment, media servers, Sympte and other time code applications, wireless communication systems, and AC and DC voltage systems;
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to lift over 75 lbs, stand for 2 hours, and operate small hand tools
Ability to use and understand various kinds of test equipment and meters such as volt, ohm, scope and amp.
Basic understanding of electrical principles, formulas and drawings.
