The New York office of Frost Productions is seeking a highly motivated Production Manager, located in the tri-state area (New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut) to join our team. Qualified candidates will have a strong background in technical production and be responsible for pre-production planning through post-event follow up. The ideal Production Manager will possess a strong ability to manage and communicate production details with clients and crew.

Position Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of technical production for assigned events
Conduct site surveys, client meetings/conference calls, event design
Consult with Account Management to determine budget details and labor needs
Create and coordinate production schedules including drafting plots in VectorWorks
Provide technical support to clients, venues, vendors, and Frost staff
Onsite management of Frost Productions crews to install and execute events
Create production paperwork for all disciplines (lighting, audio, video, etc.)

Position Requirements:
Knowledge of entertainment lighting systems, audio, video, staging, rigging, fabrication, and electrical power distribution
Ability to communicate effectively with clients, Frost staff, vendors, venue staff, etc. to ensure the coordination of pre-production through to the successful execution of each event
Ability to prioritize and manage time-sensitive details associated with multiple events simultaneously
Specialization in one or two production disciplines, while maintaining a thorough working knowledge of audio, video, lighting, fabrication, d+eacute;cor and scenic elements
Punctuality, professionalism, and a positive, collaborative attitude when working with clients and co-workers

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters Degree in technical theatre or a related technical field
Hands-on production experience and crew management in the special events industry or related field
Proficiency in VectorWorks (2D and 3D)
Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
Experience thriving in a fast-paced environment and handling last-minute changes on a frequent basis
Comfortable with heavy equipment such as boom lifts and fork lifts
A valid drivers license and acceptable driving record
Ability to drive box trucks (CDL not required)
