Loyola University Chicagos Department of Fine and Performing Arts is a vibrant, dynamic and collaborative environment that is committed to a mentor-based, undergraduate liberal arts education, providing a broad range of experiences to prepare the student for professional work in the performing arts. We are seeking a part-time Properties Artisan to join the production team for the 20-21 academic year. Job responsibilities include coordination, preparation and build or acquisition of properties for the Department of Fine Performing Arts productions, events and classroom support. This individual is responsible for supervising and teaching students in the Prop Shop and maintaining the Prop Storage and its contents. Throughout the academic year, the Theatre department will produce four faculty-directed plays and a variety of student-led performance projects and experiments.
