$45k to $65k a year


Develop appropriate video system design based on project parameters, budget and client needs
Advise on project timeline, schedule, budget, and video requirements including opportunities for cost savings
Create and update appropriate equipment lists assisting with procurement and coordination of outside vendors
Coordinate on-site setup, optimizing systems for the best quality, providing technical direction to video team, addressing client needs and resolving problems efficiently with practical solutions
Assist with strike of event space(s), ensuring correct equipment handling and storage
Oversee maintenance and repairs for all ITC-owned video equipment including asset and lifecycle management activities
Communicate regularly regarding project timelines and progress to ensure needs + expectations are consistently exceeded; escalate any issues or concerns as needed
Participate in end of event reviews to ensure client satisfaction and propose any process improvement initiatives
Create and update documentation related to equipment design, configuration, and programming
Maintain working knowledge of techniques, methods and procedures of stage, set, sound and lighting design and implementation; stage management; media integration; stage carpentry; video and projection systems and appropriate safety precautions and procedures
Research and recommend emerging technologies, solutions, and best practices
Provide mentoring, best practices, and professional development to technical staff

Minimum of ten years experience in live event productions including logistics, staging, rigging, A/V, and construction
Expert-level technical video skills
Minimum of five years experience supervising road crews (including union)
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, VectorWorks, and AutoCAD
Fluent with Barco switching systems
Compelling communicator (verbal + written) with strong project management and organizational skills to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
Proven ability to maintain composure against obstacles; solving problems with keen insight
Adept at building relationships (internal + external) and working in a team environment with proven track record of sharing ideas, providing encouragement, building on others ideas, giving due appreciation and bringing out the best in others
Willingness to work nonstandard work hours, weekends and travel frequently (must possess a valid passport)
Must have a safe driving record with a Class B drivers license or be willing and able to obtain, Class A is preferred
Bachelor's Degree in technical theater or similar field of study preferred
