Scenic Carpenter Intern
May 11 arrive / July 30 depart
$1,250 stipend / double occupancy dorm housing / 14 meals a week

Minimum Requirements: Experience with various scenic construction techniques and materials; strong woodworking and metal skills; proficiency with basic rigging and time management; ability to routinely lift more than 50 pounds, spend extended periods of time on your feet, work a varied schedule, and to work at heights above 25'. Ideal candidate should be self-motivated, safety conscious, and a team player with at least one year of professional experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Driver license a plus.

Responsible for:

Building all scenic elements for the four-show rotating repertory season, children's show, and auxiliary shows as needed.

Serving on the scenic running and changeover crews

Participating in opening night discussions

Assisting with company strike on July 28 and 29
