Phamaly Theatre Company is the premiere disability-affirmative theatre organization in the country. Phamaly seeks a Technical Production Manager to work collaboratively with a vibrant and hands-on staff in a progressive and growing organization. The Technical Production Manager is the designated head of all technical and operational activities for Phamalys programs and productions, and works with the Company Production Manager, Artistic Director, and other Phamaly staff to bring Phamalys award-winning productions to fruition.

Productions (Main stage shows, touring shows, workshops, etc.):
+middot; Plan, oversee, and implement all technical and logistical needs for the entire process (pre-production through strike) of theatrical programs and productions.
+middot; Provide on-site support at build locations and/or production venues with carpentry, lighting, sound, costuming, and other design and technical tasks.
+middot; Assist on strategic planning and implementation of Phamaly space, venue, and production processes.
+middot; With staff, create budgets for all productions (i.e. technical needs, staffing, materials, venue costs, etc.).
+middot; Track and update all budgets throughout the production process.
+middot; Work with the Artistic Director and Show Director to hire production, design, and technical staff.
+middot; With Company Production Manager, create contracts for all production staff positions.
+middot; Execute contracts for all production, design, and technical staff.
+middot; Manage and oversee all production, design, and technical staff.
+middot; With Company Production Manager, schedule all production meetings.
+middot; Serve as the primary liaison between Phamaly and production venues, ensuring proper equipment and space needs.
+middot; Coordinate all equipment purchases and/or rentals.
+middot; Coordinate with Company Production Manager all audition and rehearsal needs and equipment.
+middot; With Company Production Manager, oversee technical rehearsals for all productions.

+middot; Work with Managing Director to execute contracts and payroll process for all production staff.
+middot; Develop, maintain, and produce any documents for safety and evacuation procedures.

+middot; Maintain and organize all tools, equipment, costumes, props, etc. in Phamalys inventory.
+middot; Maintain rehearsal space, shop space, and storage facilities for inventory, cleanliness, accessibility.
+middot; Maintain and purchase production supplies (i.e. first aid, stage management supplies, etc.).

+middot; 5+ years experience and/or Masters Degree in technical direction, production management, or similar fields.
+middot; Experience with budgeting for theatrical productions.
+middot; Working knowledge of all aspects of theatre, technical and performance.
+middot; Significant management experience, particularly working with individuals with various skills and levels of experience.
+middot; Proficient in general office software and technology (Word, Excel, Dropbox, online databases, etc.).
+middot; Excellent communication skills written, oral, and visual.
+middot; Exceptional time management skills and ability to meet deadlines, even in a fluctuating artistic environment.
+middot; Direct experience working with individuals with disabilities a plus.
+middot; Experience with Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) and Cultural Competency a plus.
