Job Summary: The successful candidate will be working with Rail Events Productions during the fall and winter of 2019 to present THE POLAR EXPRESS Train Ride at various locations including but not limited to, Chicago, IL; Fillmore, CA; Ft. Lauderdale, FL; Miami, FL; New Orleans, La; Oklahoma City, OK; Perris, CA; and Whippany, NJ. The successful candidate will be working at the ticketing desk to act as a lead to all Ticketing Agents by setting an exemplary culture of enthusiasm and excitement as an introduction to the event, creating a positive passenger experience. Ticketing Agent duties include being the first to meet our customers, so the first impression of the event depends on friendliness and efficiency. Ticketing Agents will be responsible for warmly greeting customers, confirming reservations, delivering tickets, and handling all incoming requests to ensure a pleasant customer experience prior to their train ride. Lead Ticketing Agent will also assist customers with rebooking missed departures, making reservation adjustments to orders with incorrect ticket products, and acting as a liaison between the Ticketing Agents and the FOH/Business Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Welcoming customers as they approach the ticketing counter and inquire into how they would like to be serviced
Check in Passengers upon arrival and confirm reservation
Ensure that date, time and seat numbers are accurately displayed on tickets
Make any necessary updates to customers information, enter it into the system and ensure that proper information has been punched in prior to delivering tickets
Acting as the point of reference for guests who need assistance or information
Provide customers with any special information regarding their departure and the depot area
Acquire knowledge of on-board experience and show
Works with the entire event team to maintain a positive, enjoyable, and rewarding environment for all staff and passenger
Assist in general care of boarding area including restocking coloring pages and preparing boarding area for departures.

Education, Skill + Work Experience Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent
Strong leadership and communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
Basic computer skills
Ability to work weekends and evenings
Maintain an enthusiastic and welcoming demeanor
Possess a well-spoken manner in personal communications
Front desk, reservation, customer service experience preferred
Self-motivation and attention to details
Must be 18 or over
