Job Summary: The successful candidate will be working with Rail Events Productions (REP) during the fall and winter of 2019 to present THE POLAR EXPRESS Train Ride at various locations including but not limited to, Chicago, IL; Fillmore, CA; Ft. Lauderdale, FL; Miami, FL; New Orleans, La; Oklahoma City, OK; Perris, CA; and Whippany, NJ. This position will provide assistance to both the Front of the House/Business Manager and the Associate Production Manager for all tasks involved in managing the entire run of the event. This position will be cross trained of both the tasks taking place onboard the train and in the ticketing area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with the REP management team during preproduction, assist with day to day operations during the event, and participate in postproduction load out
Assist Production Manager and FOH/Business Manager leading onsite staff during the event as well as load in and load out
Help oversee ticket office agents and become familiar with the ticketing system
At select locations the Assistant FOH/Business Manager will also be responsible for overseeing the distribution of first-class bags and mugs
Assist serving as a customer service manager when the need arises
Work with food service employees and see that the quality and schedule are maintained
Become familiar with railroad safety rules and help oversee the event staffs adherence to safety
Serve as a right hand to the Production Manager and FOH/Business Manager for any event related need that arises
Assist onboard production with any items that are needed during or between runs
Works with the entire event team to maintain a positive, enjoyable, and rewarding environment for all staff and passengers
Be able to manage the will call staff during times when the Front of House + Business Manager is away from the Front of House

As the Assistant FOH/Business Manager, you will assist the FOH/Business Manager, the Associate Production Manager, and the Production Stage Manager with communication between any of the following:
Host Venue Staff
Mechanical and Train Operations Staff
On board Production Team
Other REP Front of House + Business Managers at other sites
Catering Teams
Etix Customer Support
Front of House/ Will Call staff
Retail Sales Manager
Any passenger who wishes to speak with a manager (If other managers arent available)
Your times of service may vary and should be coordinated with the rest of the management team. As such you may need to be present earlier or later than the posted schedule. You will be very familiar with required materials for the days departures and assist with staging and delivery of these items to the train.

Education, Skill + Work Experience Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent
Experience with special events and managing events
Experience and ability problem solving and leading a team in a live show setting
Ability to work alongside and serve as a leader for the event staff
Possess a well-spoken manner in personal communications
Self-motivation and attention to details
Be physically capable of lifting heavy objects
Must be willing to travel within the United States
Must be 18 or over
