$600/week, with over-time paid after 40 hours/week per week

Soho Rep is seeking a lighting/sound operator for our upcoming production of For All The Women Who Thought They Were Mad. Tech beginning October 8, with performances beginning October 15.

The board operator will:
- Serve as sound operator during tech, and light and sound operator during previews and performances, with pre-show call to be determined depending on specific pre-show needs.
- Run all pre-show checks for lighting and sound, as determined in conjunction with ME, Production Audio and Production Manager
- Perform changeovers during previews, including setting up and striking tech tables, RVI and Comm.
- Troubleshoot any lighting and sound issues throughout the run. Coordinate with Production Manager on any major issues.
- Shut down all equipment post-show

Board operator should have experience operating an ETC Ion Lightboard and QLab. Experience in both lighting and sound, as well as basic troubleshooting skills and basic understanding of comm is preferred. Candidates should be quick learners and be able to work independently.

Salary: $600/week, with over-time paid after 40 hours/week
