Box Office and Arts Management Assistant (Part time)

Opportunity to advance your skills in Arts Management and Marketing. You will be an integral part in all aspects of a professional theatre company. Looking for someone who wants to grow with Emerald Coast Theatre Company and play a key role in increasing box office sales and enhancing the professional level of service to the patrons of ECTC. This is a long term commitment with room for advancement and added responsibilities.

Qualifications

Preferred Bachelors in Arts Management, Arts Marketing, or Marketing or similar experience accepted

Duties include but are not limited to:

Available for Box office hours 10-1, Tuesday thru Friday
Phone and message retrieval and return
Coordinate and establish protocol or work evening and weekend event box office
Patron/VIP Liaison
Administrative Assistance to the Producing Artistic Director
Marketing Assist
Event and Volunteer Scheduling
Wine Concession Coordination
Filing, organizing and keeping office in good working condition

Along with all duties listed above, an ideal Box Office and Arts Management Assistant candidate should also have the following attributes:

Relevant experience in customer service including VIP patrons
Self-motivated and able to complete tasks with little supervision
Ability to work well with others and enjoy working with people of all ages including children
Comfortable with Word and Excel including making and editing lists and creating labels/mail merges. Google email, drive and docs experience will be needed.
Skilled social media planning and implementation
Willingness to learn new computer programs and software. Experience in IT support added plus.
Physical ability to stand or sit for extended lengths of time and lift at least fifty pounds
Must have drivers license and reliable transportation for occasional office errands.
Effective communication skills with students, adults and colleagues
Patience, Flexibility, Positive attitude and sense of humor.
Love of Theatre or Appreciation of the Arts
Experience working in non-profit organization that is directed by Board of Directors

Salary
$15 an hour, approximately 20 hours a week
