The Job-
We photograph and process a minimum of 100 vintage and designer items per week. Many of them need repaired prior to being sold. Minor repairs like fixing a seam separation or restitching a fallen hem are common. Some pieces will need significantly more work, so you should be comfortable relining a coat, removing poorly done alterations, altering hem length, replacing a zipper, re-pleating, etc. Your job would require maintaining a steady flow of repairs, the goal being to restore items as completely as possible the first time. Older pieces may require extensive hand sewing. Garment measurements and any flaws that remain after repairs would need to be recorded in a spreadsheet. Basic knowledge of computers, browsers, spreadsheets (Excel, Google Sheets) and general navigation required.

Other particulars: 100% of the work is onsite here in Clyde, NC. We are 10 minutes from exit 24 (toward Hot Springs) off of I-40, which means you need reliable transportation. We require a paid trial period to verify that the quality of the work meets the standard expected.

Please include your email address with your application and resume.
Thank you.
