The Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire is seeking applicants for an A2 position for our upcoming season. We are a 35-acre outdoor facility with multiple amplified stages and performance spaces. Responsibilities include set-up, running and strike for the Celtic Fling music festival, the full run of the Renaissance Faire, and other events that require audio as needed.

During the Renaissance Faire, in addition to running audio at one of our main stages, the A2 will assist the A1 with various audio tasks throughout the park including sound checking new acts, troubleshooting any issues that arise at other stages, and helping to run the Finale in Song concert at the end of each night.

Basic requirements include:
-Understanding of sound systems, signal flow, and gain structure
-Ability to mix monitors from FOH when bands are on stage
-Ability to EQ on the fly
-Comfortable communicating with Clear Com
-Battery management
-Comfortable with heights (Operation of a man-lift will be required. Training provided.)

Additional desired skills:
-Familiarity with X32 console and iPad app
-Experience with Shure wireless packs and Shure Wireless Workbench
-Previous experience operating a man-lift
-Happy attitude and ability to cooperate with talent non-judgmentally :)

The A2 will also be required to work alongside the production department constructing props and scenery and other tasks as needed. This is a physically demanding job and applicants should be prepared to work long hours outside in the elements.
