This delightful and award-winning adaptation of one of the worlds most beloved fables, The Ugly Duckling, is a heartwarming celebration of what makes us special. Since it first hatched in 1993, Honk! has winged its way around the world in over 8,000 productions and many different languages. Winner of multiple awards, including the 2000 Olivier Award for Best Musical, this tale of learning to embrace being different is sure to delight audiences of all ages with its sparkling wit and memorable score.

Scenic Charge is responsible for realizing Set Designers vision for all paint treatments and finishes of scenery and props for the production. Scenic Charge will work the Technical Director and Production Manager to plan logistics of paint so that scope of work can be completed on time and on budget. This shall include, but is not limited to, determining methods and treatments to achieve design, creating a paint schedule + budget, ordering paint, completing designer notes, creating a touch-up kit, and cleaning/restoring the paint area of the scene dock. Scenic Charge will keep paint area of the scenic dock clean and organized, leaving it accessible and neat at the end of all paint calls.

specific Paint Call hours are flexible (daytimes or nights/weekends) and can be coordinated with Technical Director/Production Manager to work alongside build schedule.
