Sound Interns

The Illinois Shakespeare Festival is seeking applications for Sound interns for its 2019 summer season. Sound experience is required. Electrics experience is a plus. In addition to sound knowledge, troubleshooting skills and an ability to read speaker and headset plots, the ideal candidate should be easy to get along with and eager to acquire new Sound skills.

At the time of the internship, candidates must be currently working towards an undergraduate degree in a field related to the area of their internship.

This position is full summer May 21 - August 13. The Sound interns will switch to sound board ops/run crew when the festival opens. While internships are unpaid, housing is provided and up to six hours of college credit can be taken at no cost.
