The Illinois Shakespeare Festival is seeking applications for Lighting interns for its 2019 summer season. Electrics experience is required. Sound experience is a plus. In addition to basic hanging, focusing and troubleshooting skills and an ability to read light plots, the ideal candidate should be easy to get along with and eager to acquire new lighting skills.

At the time of the internship, candidates must be currently working towards an undergraduate degree in a field related to the area of their internship.

This position is full summer May 21 - August 13. The Lighting interns will switch to spot light operators/run crew when the festival opens. While internships are unpaid, housing is provided and up to six hours of college credit can be taken at no cost.
