The University of Virginia's Department of Drama seeks applicants for the position of Operations and Production Manager. This twelve-month position oversees operations and production for the academic year as well as the professional summer season. Main responsibilities include: managing all aspects of building operations; facilitating and supervising venue rentals for the Department of Drama during the nine-month academic year; and serving as the theatre production manager of the summer Heritage Theatre Festival.

A Bachelor's Degree and at least one year of experience in technical theatre production or facilities management, including equipment management, are required.

The Drama Building is a state-of-the-art theatre complex, which includes the 520-seat Culbreth Theatre with proscenium stage, the flexible 160 to 200-seat Helms Theatre and, the 300-seat Ruth Caplin Theatre, a thrust theatre.
