Who We Are:
r.Cup is on a mission to reduce the single-use plastic waste that is generated by the live event industry with our rentable, reusable cup program. We partner with leaders in the music industry like Live Nation, U2, Jack Johnson, Bon Iver, Radiohead, Bon Jovi, FarmAid, and Warped Tour and call upon local environmentalists and music lovers to help us disrupt the event industrys dependence on single-use plastic products. The Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly organized and dependable Road Team Assistant that is eager to work with the Road Team Manager and be the face of r.Cup in the field. The Road Assistant will travel with various touring artists and festivals across the United States to help carry out our mission and lead our volunteer initiatives.

The Road Team Assistant will work full time, on a varied schedule, and report to the Road Team Manager.

What Youll Do:
-Work with the r.Cup home office to recruit and build our database of volunteers in the cities our artists and festivals are touring to (often multiple cities at the same time), curate the volunteer on-boarding process, serve as the on-site key point of contact coordinating final details with volunteers including meet-up locations, security clearance, training, and provide support throughout the event.
-Ensure smooth event execution by making sure all operational supplies, signs, and volunteer materials are in order. Assist with booth set-up, hanging signs (and removing post-event), count-out and shipping prep.
-Work with the Road Team Manager and the venue concessions and event team to count-in r.Cups and ensure proper distribution throughout the entire event
-Work with Road Team Manager to ensure all city documents are up-to-date with current and post event information and reporting
-Report in daily on progress of events + suggest ways of improvement from each experience
-Send in written re-caps and manage paperwork, Including receipt reconciliation, venue settlement and volunteer cash reconciliation+#8232;

Who You Are:
An adventurous spirit who enjoys travel and live music, are flexible and able to think on your feet to solve problems, and enjoys working with people and fostering relationships.
-Have 1-2 years of experience working with live entertainment, organizing logistics, environmental, political or progressive issue campaigns
-Able to juggle a variety of projects at the same time and thrive when working under pressure with tight deadlines.
-Enjoy project and event managing
-Are eager to learn new skills and take on additional responsibility with our growing company
-Ability to look at the big picture while handling key tactical tasks at hand
-Are passionate about creating change and are the type of person who always carries a refillable water bottle and coffee mug
-Not afraid to speak in front of people, energize teams, and inspire fans to create change
