Event Sound Production LLC, based in the Nashville area, is currently accepting applications for free-lance "live sound" Audio Technicians and Engineers. We have a few open positions available for our upcoming Winter touring season. All applicants MUST have reliable transportation and a method of contact. You should also have a intermediate to advanced knowledge of concert and theatrical production, with an emphasis on audio. Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn is a must! Applicants must be available to begin work on or after October 16, 2017.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Ensure that proper power requirements have been met and metered for all audio systems.
Be responsible for the proper placement, set up, operation, proper use, and maintenance of all audio equipment provided by Company. Confirms that all equipment is operational and functioning.
Ensure that the audio in all rooms is of excellent quality, and run all microphones and devices professionally at correct levels and volumes throughout the event. Also ensure that the audio feeds for video are correct and balanced. Arrange for music to be playing in all rooms from the moment doors open for competition and classes.
Ensure that all audio equipment is maintained, clean, and properly secured and stored when not in use.
Be on time for all call times set forth by Crew Lead/Production Manager.
Assist with load in/out, and truck subdivides in all applicable cities. Ensure that all equipment is loaded/unloaded properly.
Work as a team player with other touring technicians and labor crews. Assists with everything tour related. Duties also include pipe and drape, classroom truss, Marley, stage set-up and strike.
Be available to prep and inventory the Equipment assigned to you for the contracted tour at ESP warehouse. Be available at designated times to load and unload truck/trailers at the beginning and end of the tour.

Education and Experience

Knowledgeable on complete set up, operation, and strike of professional sound systems.
Knowledgeable with audio signal flow, and both analog and digital consoles.
Ability to work long hours in theatrical production environments.
Assist with load in/out, and truck subdivides in all applicable cities. Ensure that all equipment is loaded/unloaded properly.
Ability to drive both 16' and 24' Box trucks is a big plus.

Time Commitment

Work dates normally run Thursday-Monday each week during October-May, (depending on tour). Thursday and Monday are usually travel days, with show run Friday-Sunday.
You may occasionally be required to be stay out a full week Monday - Sunday, (depending on tour routing).
You may be required to attend training at our Production Facility in Nashville, TN. Be available at designated times to load and unload truck/trailers at the beginning and end of the tour.
