LIVE ENTERTAINMENT MANAGER
We are currently seeking a live entertainment practitioner to join our Los Angeles-based team to help develop and produce cause-related concerts, media events, issue-based conferences and various sports-related activation projects. Working closely with our partners in California and nationwide, the manager will engage and build productive relationships with talent technical representatives, production staff and venue personnel. We are looking for a dynamic team player with live entertainment production experience, diplomacy, problem-solving and project management skills.

The ideal candidate is a highly-motivated, personable individual with 5+years event or show production experience and is ready for a management position with executive-level growth potential.

THIS POSITION:
+#9642; Is a full-time position in a small, high-paced company which works directly with sports, live entertainment, labor, corporate, political and governmental entities.
+#9642; Requires an extremely motivated, organized and self-directed individual who can take the production lead on multiple projects per month.
+#9642; Serves as the primary point of contact with facilities, stage crews, artists technical directors and equipment vendors for each event.
+#9642; Requires, weekend and holiday work as needed.
+#9642; Will involve rapidly changing priorities which must be achieved on a daily and/or weekly basis.

REQUIRES CORE COMPETENCIES AND ADMINISTRATIVE SKILLS INCLUDING:
+#9642; Develop and manage project workplans, including the creation and management of timelines.
+#9642; Ability to create and manage production budgets.
+#9642; Personnel management, including the ability to delegate effectively.
+#9642; Ability to design and create event diagrams and schematics.
+#9642; Ability to negotiate vendor equipment rental agreements.
+#9642; Involves heavy logistics management.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS + ABILITIES UTILIZED WEEKLY
+#9642; Ability to manage and lead live projects with an emphasis on entrepreneurial thinking and leadership.
+#9642; Ability to help conceptualize, develop, implement and manage small, medium and large productions
+#9642; Must possess a working knowledge of concert production (venues, budgeting and producing based on artist riders, as well as a general knowledge of staging, sound, lighting, video/digital and/or other equipment roles)
+#9642; Excellent people skills and the ability to interact efficiently with co-workers, clients and the public.
+#9642; Requires excellent writing, organizing and communication skills.



GROWTH POTENTIAL
As the successful candidate grows into this position, advancement into an executive-level position is encouraged.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
+#9642; 5+ years event or show production experience
+#9642; Strong knowledge of at least one of the following (stage build, sound, lighting, video, backline)
+#9642; Familiarity with (stage build, sound, lighting, video, backline)
+#9642; Strong leadership, budgeting and communication skills (written, verbal).
+#9642; Ability to work with artists technical and touring teams.
+#9642; Able to speak knowledgeably with concert and production venue technical teams.
+#9642; Experience deciphering contracts and technical riders.
+#9642; Some experience marketing and promoting live events.
+#9642; Some knowledge of risk management as it relates to concert development.
+#9642; Enthusiastic and hardworking. Creative, quick thinking.
+#9642; Strong computer software skills (Windows, Adobe, Microsoft Office- Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Apple basics a major plus (or ability to learn)
+#9642; Familiarity working with CAD designers and stage lighting software freelancers (such as wyziwig)
+#9642; Exhibit the creative capacity to create client-ready documents in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
