Operations Manager
The Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations in+nbsp;our office and warehouse. This position plans and delegates work, develops and improves processes and policies, and recommends improvements. It also manages employees within the department and is responsible for hiring warehouse staff. The Operations Manager will work closely with project management to coordinate projects and schedules.

Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management
-Manage the daily operations in our warehouse, including equipment preparation for events, installations, rentals, and sales.
-Coordinate with warehouse manager to effectively prepare equipment and plan deliveries and pickups.
-Coordinate service, repairs, and replacements with warehouse manager and project management.
-Provides direct supervision of team members, including scheduling and time keeping.
-Manages inventory control and plans sub rentals as needed with warehouse manager and project management.
-Works with project managers to prepare quotes for clients and provides recommendations based on equipment available.
-Attends internal and customer facing meetings as needed.

Customer Service
-Serves, at times, as first contact for new customers contacting SPL via phone or email regarding event and installation projects.
-Provides outstanding customer service by establishing working relationships with clients during projects and pick-ups/returns.
-Conveys a professional, confident, and courteous image to our customers during all interactions.

Your Background:
-A High School Diploma is required. A Bachelors degree in a relevant field is preferred
-A current drivers license and a clean driving record
-3+ years of audio visual management experience
-Experience in a client-facing role
-Working knowledge of audio, video, lighting, and other production equipment
-Clear, demonstrated communication skills
-Detail oriented
-Self-directed, with an understanding of the big picture
-Experience with CAD, technical drawings, and project documentation
-Strong computer skills with extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, QuickBooks, and Rental Management Software (RMS)
