Seeking a detail oriented individual who enjoys meeting deadlines and having fun!

The Mascot Organization is a friendly and fast-paced small business. We coordinate promotional mascot appearances for many well-known entertainment and retail clients nationwide. We are looking for someone to fill a Full-time hourly position.

This is a great position for a recent graduate or someone re-entering the workplace.

This is an office job - in a very lively fun environment! Responsibilities of the job include (but are not limited to): phone interviews, talent coordination staffing, communication of event details between office, client and talent via email. Potential candidate will need to be professional, enjoy working with people and talking with the public, be extremely organized and have an exceptional phone personality. Excellent computer skills required.

Staffing Assistant will work 40 hours per week (which will include several early evening hours (4pm - 7pm) and 2 or 3 Saturday mornings per month. This position is full time hourly with paid overtime and benefits

You would be partly responsible for:
- Receiving event requests from our clients
- Scheduling new mascot appearance
- Selecting, matching and assigning talent to mascot events
- Providing talent with event details and event specific paperwork
- Providing clients with talent details and company specific paperwork
- Following up with clients after event
- Following up with performers after events
- Assisting with recruiting and training new performing talent
- Assisting with various administrative tasks
- Fulfill local and regional performing tasks as needed
- manage mascot performers at larger events
- Additional company needs as required

Qualified Candidates must have:
- Clean criminal background (no convictions)
- Experience in costume design, costume management or costume production
- 2 years experiences in project management, customer support, theater or event planning
- High School diploma (Associate or Bachelors' Degree preferred)
- Ability to work as a team player in the office (and a leader on-site in the field)
- Good interpersonal, communication + organizational skills
- Good phone etiquette
- Proficiency with Microsoft office applications (outlook, Word, Excel)
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or Quicken software is a plus

Starting Pay is $11.00 per hour plus additional hours and event bonus.
