Utah Festival Opera is seeking individuals to serve as Company Management / Box Office Interns for our 2019 summer season. Each summer UFOMT produces 6 mainstage shows, 4 secondary shows, 2-4 concerts, and other events during our festival season. All shows perform in rep. Intern will work for the Company Manager on housing, travel, and hospitality needs. Duties include driving shuttles, setting up apartments, managing development events, and assisting Administrative Staff as needed. Intern will also provide front office administrative support, working closely with the Director of Ticketing and Box Office Manager selling tickets, interacting with patrons, handling will-call, and assist patrons in all aspects of the ticketing process. This is an excellent opportunity to gain first hand knowledge of the inner workings of an arts organization. Qualified applicants should have previous management, marketing, or administrative experience and should be highly motivated and ready to work in a fun and exciting environment in the beautiful mountains of Northern Utah. Must have a good sense of humor, ability not to take yourself seriously, and must be able to handle the divas with ease. Must have a valid driver's license and be able to life 40+ pounds.
