David Korins Design
New York, NY

Expires: 07/27/17

Stipend or Academic Credit

David Korins Design is a multidisciplinary design and production firm whose work spans Broadway, opera, music, television, film, interiors, hospitality, and other experiential designs. The internship offers an inside look at the design process, from idea to fully executed experience. Interns shadow staff members, work closely with our team of designers, model makers, illustrators, project managers, and explore the city through the eyes of a designer. The internship is a once in a lifetime experience for any rising scenic/production designer.

This highly competitive internship is designed to challenge, and is curated to the strengths and weaknesses of each individual. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) model making, drafting, rendering, shopping, research, on-set production assisting, and various administrative duties. Interns must be diligent, focused, self-motivated and eager to learn.

To be considered, please email a cover letter, resume, drafting samples (PDF and/or Vectorworks files preferred), photos of model work, illustrations/renderings, and any other work youd like to showcase. The fall internship is full time, five days a week, and runs September 5, 2017 through January 26, 2018, but can be flexible. Offered for academic credit, or payable by stipend.
