The Shakespeare Theatre Company, located in Washington DC, seeks a Development Operations Manager to join our Development department. This position develops and reports on contributed income projections and expense budgets, and provides strategic analysis of fundraising activity. S/he organizes the framework of fundraising campaigns for strategic moves with donors and prospects, as well as all routine and special fundraising appeals therein. The DOM is the Development departments primary reference for Tessitura and is responsible for the integrity and reporting of data. S/he will manage prospect research and wealth screening, provide ongoing management of prospect research databases, donor stewardship fulfillment, gift accounting and pledge remittance. S/he will advise on design and organization of content on fundraising-related pages on the STC website, fundraising-related institutional emails, and the Theatres Annual Report. This position manages the Development Operations Coordinator. 3-5 years of fundraising, Excel, and Tessitura experience is required. Nonprofit and/or arts experience strongly preferred.
