The Department of Theatre, Film, and Digital Production seeks a lecturer to teach TFDP 020 Production Techniques: Theatre, Film + Television in the 2017 Spring quarter (April 1 June 16). The instructor will teach undergraduate students technical production practices, equipment, and architecture for theatre, film, and television design. The class explores the application of production practices and principles of stagecraft in relation to scenic, costume, lighting, sound, and projection design. TFDP 020 is split between 3 hours per week lecture and 1.5 hours per week of laboratory work.

Salary: $5788.19 per course per quarter

Required Qualifications: MA, MFA, or equivalent experience (3 years professional and/or university instructing experience). Experience teaching production techniques at the university level is required.
