Sales/Business Development Associate

Acme is seeking a motivated, self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit to help grow our event company. This position can be structured as a full-time, professional OR an internship based on the individual qualifications.

Position Description:
Generate new business through prospecting and lead generation, Represent Acme at client meetings and networking events.

Position Overview
Develop a pipeline of prospective clients
Qualify leads by contacting prospective clients
Initiate sales process by scheduling meetings and presenting the company portfolio
Contribute toward moving opportunities through the sales process
Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients
Develop quotes, submit proposals, and conduct follow-up as necessary to close the sale
Organize events, appearances at conferences, and other meetings.
Maintain client database

Position Requirements
Bachelors degree (preferred) in related field
Internship requires background in sales, marketing, or communications
1-2 years of work experience for the professional position
Comfortable cold calling
Excellent oral and written communication skills
A true "people" person
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
