Wardrobe Crew/Dressers needed for Florentine Opera's 2021/2022 season. Compensation is based on attendance of Designer Run (+/- $50) and scheduled hours during other dates listed. Compensation for one-week run is $350 w/o Designer Run or $400 w/Designer Run. Compensation for two-week run is TBD.

Designer Run: 2/4/2022

Preview: 2/9/2022
Opening: 2/11/2022
Closing/Strike: 2/13/2022

L'enfant et le Sortileges + Cendrillion
Designer Run: 3/4/2022
Tech: 3/7 + 3/8/2022
Preview: 3/9/2022
Opening: 3/11/2022
Performances: March 11, 13, 18, 20
Closing/Strike: 3/20/2022

La Boheme
Designer Run: 4/30/2022
Tech: 5/2 + 5/3/2022
Preview: 5/4/2022
Opening: 5/6/2022
Closing/Strike: 5/8/2022


Job responsibilities include:
-Attend designer run.
-Attend all technical rehearsals and performances.
-Assist with load-in.
-Attend to all costume needs of the performers.
-Ability to communicate clearly with Wardrobe Supervisor or Costume Shop Manager.
-Must be able to help with costume changes.
-Ability to problem solve and act quickly/efficiently should problems arise during performances.
-Basic hand and machine sewing knowledge is encouraged, but not required.
-Need to be able to lift and carry costumes while navigating stairs.
-General understanding of wardrobe paperwork.
-Assist with strike.

(Florentine Opera Company does not provide housing or travel expenses for this position.)
