Experience

I am a problem solver who enjoys working with a team to produce a product at the highest caliber. I am a passionate leader and team player who adapts well to change and excels at working in fast paced environments. Thanks to my decade of event and live entertainment experience, I find that my skill set is ever expanding and perfecting, enabling me to become successful at maintaining good working relationships with high profile clientele and their entities.

I was previously the audio-visual shop manager at Bentley Meeker Lighting and Staging where I organized a team of technicians to support events at the U.N., The Whitney Museum, and The Plaza Hotel. There, I oversaw the logistics of job orders, maintenance of our audio and video gear ranging from consoles to video walls and show computers; and was required to navigate a steep learning curve to successfully perform my duties. In addition to my management and logistics experience, I served as the audio department head and resident sound designer for The Box NYC for over five years, where I edited show music, voice and sound effect material daily in addition to programming and designing content into our nightly show proving my ability to work quickly and under enormous pressure. Currently I serve as a project manager and client face for multiple high-end boutique production companies where I manage client expectations as well as operate and design found spaces for large scale industrial and corporate installations.

Regarding education and additional experience, I attended Point Park University; learning skills ranging from carpentry and scenic design, lighting design, and theatrical management all while focusing on sound design and engineering. I have refined and honed these skills at a professional level for over a decade in both corporate and theatrical settings. I have worked directly with many high-profile clients during NYC Fashion Week, private parties and high-profile events. I have been able to use my vast skill set professionally in a wide variety of positions. I have worked as a teachers assistant and scene shop staff at Carnegie Mellon University, served on the Celebrity Cruise Lines Equinox Solstice class ship as an AV technician and radial rigging operator, as well as advanced riders/technical needs and engineered for performing artists such as John Legend, Snoop Dogg, Alan Cumming, and Ariana Grande, and currently serve as Oneohtrix Point Nevers (OPN) North American Tour Manager where within the past year we have headlined at Opus Festival, toured with Redbull Music Academy to Walt Disney Concert Hall, and Headlined at Pitchforks Midwinter Festival in Chicago.
