Experience

Been doing various carpentry for several years before ever incolved in any stage work. I also got a combination welding certificate from Moraine Valley Community College . Then worked at that community college theater for over a year where I worked in set carpentry as well as other stage work including flying things in and out, moving pieces on and off stage, light focusing, hanging lights, and some spot light work. I also did flux core and Mig welding for some shows for them.

I have been working as a freelance stage hand in the city as well. Working various events doing set ups and strikes mainly, as well as shop preparation/inventory work.

Please note that the foam carving skill listed above is somewhat limited but I'm good with my hands and definitely can learn more, quickly.
